Jesus is relatable

This morning I had a deeper revelation of how relatable Jesus really is. He was fully God yet fully human when He came to earth. Take that in for a moment....
FULLY HUMAN
He had real emotions and real thoughts and he understands us. In Psalm 22:16 it reads:
Like a pack of wild dogs they tear at me,
swirling around me with their hatred.
Jesus was hated, mocked, rejected, beaten, bruised. He was betrayed by his friends. He took on every single sin and God had to look away.
Take that in for a moment.
Every single sin he experienced in a moment and he was left alone to die with it. He had nobody. He was naked in shame like Adam and Eve in the garden.
He did it for love.
He did it because He knew it was a temporary torment and He had to surrender so that we could live.
What does life look like when I get a deeper reality of the cross and what happened there? What does life look like when I live in spirit and in truth? What does life look like when I surrender my own life for others?
I asked Jesus in my heart at a very young age yet I feel like I am just now at almost 40 starting to really grasp what it means to be saved. What it means to not just go through the religious motions and to experience this God that sent His son to walk as a human to show us how to live. This God that understands so well what rejection feels like. This God that washed the feet of those who would betray Him. This God who set captives free over and over and over again.
I think this world is on the brink of something truly great before His return. I think the world is going to experience the greatest revival of all time because yet again history seems to repeat itself and when the world is in chaos we seem to better acknowledge how desperate we are of a savior.
Position yourself beloved.
Stay sober minded and prepare for a great move of God.
Don't hold Him back in your own life. Nothing in this world can compare to the overwhelming love of God. If you haven't invited Him into your heart yet I encourage you to do so. You won't regret it. The world may mock you but His love will strengthen you.
When your eyes are locked on His the world just fades away. To have a relationship with a God who came to earth fully human...
nothing like it.
He is so real.
He is so relatable.
